One Day Yoga Retreat at Stanmer House

In need of some recharging or looking for inspiration? Join us for a day yoga retreat at Stanmer.
You'll receive three yoga classes throughout the day (details below) in one of the spacious rooms at the front of the house overlooking the park. Breakfast and Lunch will be served in the restored rooms of the 18th Century house at the new restaurant ‘Source'. Beginners v welcome. Your teacher, Anna Brook is experienced and insured with Yoga Alliance.
The dates are:
The day runs from 8am - 4pm.
7.45am – Arrival
(and fruit juice)
8am – 9.30am – Yoga Session (1 hr 30 mins)
Join us bright and early for a fun, dynamic class which will help detox and strengthen the body. With Vinyasa Flow and Ashtanga influences, this class will awaken the body with flowing sequences and emphasis on good alignment, leaving you feeling energised and glowing.
9.30am – 10.30am – Breakfast
10.30am – 11.30am – Free Time
Time to read, explore etc.
11.30am – 12.45pm – Yoga Session (1 hr 15 mins)
A calming session where postures are held for longer to enable deep relaxation. This helps ease out long stored tensions in the body and allows you to rest fully.
1pm – 2pm – Lunch
2pm – 3pm – Free Time
Time to read, explore etc. Take a guided walk with Sussex WildLife Trust if you so wish.
3pm – 4pm – Yoga Session (1 hr)
In this class we focus on some meditation and pranayama (breathing) techniques and end with yoga nidra (deep relaxation) to you leave feeling spacious and deeply relaxed.
